It has been my honor to serve as general manager of IAPMO R&T Lab’s state-of-the-art testing laboratory in Guangzhou, China, for more than 15 years. During my 25-plus years with The IAPMO Group, I have witnessed tremendous expansion and constantly evolving specialization in our service to the plumbing, mechanical, swimming pool/spa and solar energy industries.

The IAPMO Group has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years and the Guangzhou Lab is one of the fruits of that growth. Much like the long-established, well-respected lab at our headquarters in Ontario, Calif., the Guangzhou facility has been established expressly to provide the most efficient, professional and supportive services we can offer our clients.

IAPMO R&T Lab Guangzhou is strategically located for the benefit of our existing and prospective clients in the Asia Pacific region. Now, instead of shipping their products halfway around the world (with the considerable time and expense that goes into it), Asia Pacific clients can ship them within their own hemisphere. And when a need for customer service arises, they can speak to a live person in their own time zone and often in their own language.

IAPMO R&T Lab Guangzhou’s mission is “Fulfill our clients’ need for product testing and consultation with timely analysis and information allowing them to obtain product certification and gain business intelligence about their products, ultimately expediting their products to the market”.

Our vision is “To be the laboratory of choice for product testing”.

IAPMO R&T Lab Guangzhou is another example of IAPMO R&T doing everything it can in order to best serve the plumbing and mechanical manufacturing industry anywhere in the world.
